I wanted to capture the power of femininity and the softness of a silhouette. The oversized hat conceals her face. Leaving something untold, a mystery for the viewer to make their own. I have always been drawn to what lies beneath the surface. To who we are before the world truly knows us, and how easily we are defined by what is visible.
SHE REVEALS JUST ENOUGH TO DRAW US IN, YET KEEPS SOMETHING FOR HERSELF. A BEAUTIFUL SURFACE, A GLIMPSE OF SOMETHING DEEPER. A REMINDER THAT THERE IS ALWAYS MORE TO DISCOVER ONCE WE ARE ALLOWED IN.
